Fat mans prayerFat Man's Prayer Lord, My soul is ripped with riot incited by my wicked diet. "We Are What We Eat," said a wise old man! and, Lord, if that's true, I'm a garbage can.
I want to rise on Judgment Day, that's plain!
May my flesh with carrot-curls be sated,
And at oleomargarine I'll never mutter,
Mephistopheles lurks in provolone;
Give me this day my daily slice
And when my days of trial are done,
I can do it Lord, If You'll show to me, Lord, if you love me, shut my mouth. ~ By Victor Buono daily zenAs flowing waters disappear into the mist Every heart is its own Buddha; To become a saint, do nothing. The efforts of the individual are not the sole determining factor in the individual’s condition in life, because everyone is part of the nexus of society and nature and the continuum of time. It is common for people to attribute causes wrongly because of misperception of real relationships. Every cause is the effect of something else, and every effect is the cause of something else. He even goes so far as to say that mountains and trees can be thrown into the sea simply by praying for it. This is clearly a lie, and can be proven to be a lie by any believer. Simply pray for me to be converted to Christianity right away. Or better yet ask God to move the mountains behind my house. He could make a lot of converts that way. If I’m converted today, I’ll post a public apology on my web site and devote my life to kissing God’s ass. If I’m not converted it would only be fair for you to apologize and devote your life to kissing my butt.
Here are the quotes from Jesus that proves that he lied:
1) And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, `Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:21-22 NAS)
2) Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8 NAB)
3) Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst. (Matthew 18:19-20 NAS)
4) Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him. Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. (Mark 11:24-25 NAB)
5) And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Luke 11:9-13 NAB)
6) And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14 NAB)
7) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. (John 15:7 NAB)
8) It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you. (John 15:16 NAB)
9) On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. (John 16:23-24 NAB)
A lot of Christians ignore what Jesus actually says in the Bible. They also tend to add things to the actual words to make them say something else. If you honestly and truthfully read these quotes, without adding to them, it is very easy to see that Jesus is not saying that God will think about your prayers. He says God will grant all your prayers. Clearly, God doesn’t grant all prayers and this proves that Jesus was a habitual liar. Me and an idiot named thankfulgirl
This might help free you from your world of mps, sprites, trolls gods and spooks. Thankfulgirl May 5, 2011 2:42 AM I do NOT believe in troll Gods, spirits, spooks ect, I believe IN Jesus christ who is Gods son and is my savior. God sent him to die on the cross for OUR sins, and so we can be saved and live eternity in heaven. That is IF we except Jesus as our savior and Believe in him. He loves each one of us as his children, EVEN the people who talk against him and spit in his face. We dont KISS his ****, we love him because of the wonderful things he does in our lives and the amazing work he does in many different ways. You just havent experienced any of it, but if you did you would be amazed and have more peace than y0u ever had in your life. Your whole life would be completly changed. You cant experience any of that until you are in a downright desperate situation in your life which you will be someday and the ONLY thing to do is suffer , die or call to him for help. Unless you are dead set on not WANTING to believe. Its ALL your choice. But if you would believe or at least have an open mind and ask him to reveal his presence, have patience & HE WILL. I believe in Gods word The Holy Bible. There is an extreme amount of scentific evidence of many events in the bible that have SCIENTIFICALLY been proven to have happened. You can research it, Noah's Ark they have found, proof of the parting of the "Red Sea" ect..., and many more histrical Bible events have been proven, not only to mention the experiences and many answered prayers that I have had. You cant say there is NO God when you have never gave him a chance to do work in your life, BUT some people are so stubborn that he has to put them in a desperate situation so they have to ask for help. If they dont than they in my opinion are lacking "Wisdom". Godfree110158 May 5, 2011 7:46 AM If you believe in the bible you believe in talking snakes and donkeys, flying zombies and enchanted trees with magic fruit, its all in there, look it up. Your right, they have found evidence of Noah's ark, the evidence was that the story came from the Babylonian empire. But why argue, your Jesus said that whatever you asked of him he would do for you, so ask him to convert me. I mean this is the son of god were talking about and this is his promise. I await my conversion. Godfree110158 May 5, 2011 1:21 PM still not converted, did jesus lie to you? Thankfulgirl May 6, 2011 2:56 AM I will do exactly that. I will pray for you. But you have to be patient, God's going to give you a "Wake up call in HIS own timing, NOT yours. Godfree110158 May 6, 2011 8:16 AM First, I thank you for taking the time to both answer me and to pray for me. But for the sake of the experiment I would request that your prayer sets a deadline, say for instance this coming Sunday. I again I remind you of the jesus promise:And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. New Living Translation (©2007) You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. English Standard Version (©2001) Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. New American Standard Bible (©1995) "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. International Standard Version (©2008) I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son The promise is that anything you ask he will do so as to prove the glory of his father, no conditions, this is his promise. So, shall we say salvation by Sunday? Thankfulgirl May 6, 2011 3:42 PM lol, You do NOT give God a deadline, you do not demand of God , you ASK! It is in HIS TIMING NOT OURS. but he will answer. But not if people have closed minds. It could be tomorrow, or it could be on your deathbed like Darwin. Wel have to see Godfree110158 May 6, 2011 5:19 PM Then Christs words are meaningless? I dont understand, did he not say he would grant you anything you asked? I am saying to ask him to convert me by Sunday, or do you not take him at his word? Thankfulgirl May 8, 2011 1:41 AM Im not a Bible Scholar, therfore I dont know how to explain this to you, but there are pastors that CAN explain this verse, like from a Nondenominational church. So feel free to ask one they will explain it. People have been trying to prove the bible wrong for years but have not found any inconsistantcies Hebrew 11 explains a little of how God works in peoples lives. One part says that you have to believe in him and sincerely seek him to find him, and experience him and his blessings. I only know Iv experienced Gods love and power and many others and you NEVER walked in my shoes or thiers so you CANNOT say it wasnt real or that it wasnt God, YOU dont know unless you were there. I have prayed for you so just be advised. Godfree110158 May 8, 2011 8:53 AM Wonderful, thank you. What I don't get is your renascence to embrace the very words of your god, I am sure Hebrews goes into great detail about prayer and faith, but the verse I quoted to you is quite specific yet you seem to feel very uncomfortable with it. Jesus, your god, said that he would give you, the faithful follower, anything you asked in his name so as to give glory to his god-father- part. I could have asked you to pray for an end to world hunger, to bring about world peace, to stop the sun from revolving around the earth (your bible thinks this is true). But all I asked was conversion. As for your statement that I cant know what is true or not, may I make a point. When I was young I would leave a plate of cookies and a glass of milk on a table every xmas eve for Santa. The next morning the cookies would be gone and the milk drank. When I was a child and I lost a tooth, I would put it under my pillow, the next morning I would find a letter from Mary the fairy or Alf the elf as well as some cash. In that you never walked in my shoes will you except this as proof positive that Santa Claus is real as is the tooth Fairy? I also have an Easter Rabbit story. Thankfulgirl May 8, 2011 8:38 PM John 15: 5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. Jesus is talking to the disciples so these people have faith in Jesus. Jesus will do NOTHING for the people that have no faith in Him. Read verse 7 slowly and carefully. So for this verse to work I have to have faith but the person(YOU) also has to have faith. It also has to be his will for him to answer your prayer. So if ending world hunger is not in his will then it wont happen. It sais clearly in the Bible that there will be suffering on the earth but it is the reward after this life keeps us Christians enduring through it all. Try TRUELY believing in God for awhile, make yourself believe in him and then you will start to see your prayers for him to reveal himself be answered. That is the only way you will find him, OR out of desperation if you call to him for help. Godfree110158 May 9, 2011 8:09 AM But do you see what you are asking? You want me to believe in a thing that you as a believer don't seem to embrace yourself. Your Jesus does not have a lot to say in your bible, so I would assume the things he did say would carry a tremendous amount of weight, so when the man explicitly states that he will grant you anything you ask of him, no conditions attached and someone like me comes to you and asks in all humility for you to exercise your prerogative and demonstrate Jesus' faithfulness to his own words and yet you refuse...well, are you not like the shepherd who leads the lost sheep astray? Thankfulgirl May 9, 2011 4:36 PM I TOLD YOU, In order for the prayer to work YOU have to believe TOO. HOW much clearer can I be??It does NOT say anywhereNO CONTIONS ATTACHED... It clearly states in the verse that you have to be IN HIM anotherwords BELIEVE in order for him to answer anything. I have plenty confidence in Jesus, He has NEVER once let me down. and you saying that my word is like you saying you seen the toothfairy is basically calling me a LIAR! I am a girl of integrity, Honesty is very serious to me, so I dont apreciate calling me a liar. When I say I had some amazing answered prayers and experiences with God, then I am telling the truth. I dont care if you believe me or not. There are some honest people still in this world ya know. Someday you will find out. You are talking out of ignorance and sorry to say but YOU are the LOST sheep and always will be until you Believe. Godfree110158 May 9, 2011 4:41 PM Your little jesus said that he would do anything you ask of him, in other words he is willing to be your bitch, I dont have to believe, you do, its your prayer, you pray to convert me. Admit it sweetie you are scared to death that your jesus has lied to you. Oh ye of little faith. until you get me converted by little bitch jesus/jehovah I will only think of you as a liar Thankfulgirl May 9, 2011 4:50 PM You are a hateful person. Actually You are Satans B-----, because of your hateful attatude towards God, your doing exactly what he wants of you. Read up on Spiritual warfare. Someday you will be converted, in Gods timing. and You are the scared one who is extremly lost and will be with your prideful denying ARROGANT Attude. a truthIt is an interesting and demonstrable fact, that all children are atheists and were religion not inculcated into their minds, they would remain so Jesus is a fuckin liarThis blog has been marked as containing adult content. God Isn't Real — Robbie Fulks, "God Isn't Real" Why Am I An Agnostic - Robert G. Ingersoll------- "When I became convinced that the Universe is natural-that all the ghosts and gods are myths, there entered into my brain, into my soul, into every drop of my blood, the sense, the feeling, the joy of freedom. The walls of my prison crumbled and fell, the dungeon was flooded with light and all the bolts, and bars, and manacles became dust. I was no longer a servant, a serf, or a slave. There was for me no master in all the wide world-not even in infinite space. I was free. -free to think, to express my thoughts -free to live to my own ideal -free to live for myself and those I loved -free to use all my faculties, all my senses -free to spread imagination's wings -free to investigate, to guess and dream and hope -free to judge and determine for myself -free to reject all ignorant and cruel creeds, all the "inspired" books that savages have produced, and all the barbarous legends of the past -free from popes and priests -free from all the "called" and "set apart" -free from sanctified mistakes and holy lies -free from the fear of eternal pain -free from the winged monsters of night -free from devils, ghosts, and gods For the first time I was free. There were no prohibited places in all the realms of my thought-no air, no space, where fancy could not spread her painted wings -no chains for my limbs -no lashes for my back -no fires for my flesh -no master's frown or threat -no following another's steps -no need to bow, or cringe, or crawl, or utter lying words. I was free. I stood erect and fearlessly, joyously, faced all worlds. And then my heart was filled with gratitude, with thankfulness, and went out in love to all the heroes, the thinkers who gave their lives for the liberty of hand and brain -for the freedom of labor and thought -to those who fell on the fierce fields of war, to those who died in dungeons bound with chains -to those who proudly mounted scaffold's stairs -to those whose bones were crushed, whose flesh was scarred and torn -to those by fire consumed -to all the wise, the good, the brave of every land, whose thoughts and deeds have given freedom to the sons of men. And I vowed to grasp the torch that they had held, and hold it high, that light might conquer darkness still." We demand a new miracleWe have heard talk enough. We have listened to all the drowsy, idealess, vapid sermons that we wish to hear. We have read your Bible and the works of your best minds. We have heard your prayers, your solemn groans and your reverential amens. All these amount to less than nothing. We want one fact. We beg at the doors of your churches for just one little fact. We pass our hats along your pews and under your pulpits and implore you for just one fact. We know all about your mouldy wonders and your stale miracles. We want a 'this year's fact'. We ask only one. Give us one fact for charity. Your miracles are too ancient. The witnesses have been dead for nearly two thousand years. Their reputation for 'truth and veracity' in the neighborhood where they resided is wholly unknown to us. Give us a new miracle, and substantiate it by witnesses who still have the cheerful habit of living this world. Do not send us to Jericho to hear the winding horns, nor put us in the fire with Shadrach, Meshech and Abednego. Do not compel us to navigate the sea with Captain Jonah, nor dine with Mr. Ezekiel. There is no sort of use in sending us fox-hunting with Samson. We have positively lost all interest in that little speech so eloquently delivered by Balaam's inspired donkey. It is worse than useless to show us fishes with money in their mouths, and call our attention to vast multitudes stuffing themselves with five crackers and two sardines. We demand a new miracle, and we demand it now. Let the church furnish at least one, or forever hold her peace The Good"The Good is that which leads to health, The Right is that which leads to peace. Purpose is ours to choose, Meaning is the story we choose to join. We are all members of Darwin's family, all kin from the beginning of life. If you value anything, value other humans, for they are the only help you will have in times of trouble. The Godless Universe is vast and wondrous, and more than enough. We have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."
